Why do people collect swords?

The first step is to ensure that no one ever touches your swords’ blades. Of course, keeping others from touching your blades has obvious safety implications; but, the oil and salt on people’s hands can eat away at the metal on your swords. If your blade comes into contact with anything, take care to clean it down. In any case, you can keep your blades from rusting by cleaning them off with non-organic oil on a regular basis.
