How A Common Indian Cake Called Roti Is Slowly Killing Your Pet Dog or Cat
Dogs and cats love to snack as much as humans do, and a common Indian sweet called roti is slowly poisoning them. Roti is made of sugar, wheat flour, and ghee or clarified butter (a type of cooking oil). Sugar is devastating for dogs and cats because it causes the body’s blood sugar to spike; this can lead to diabetes, organ damage, blindness and even death. This is why it’s so important to check labels carefully before you buy anything. You’ll want to make sure it’s free of sugar or any other artificial sweetener.
